Naomi Egglestone

I have been involved with Initial Stages for 8 months as Administration Officer and marvel at the amazing talent & effort of both staff & students within this fantastic Junior Theatre Company, and look forward to being involved in another production year and providing administration support to staff, parents & students.

My background is in Early Childhood, with 15 years experience in providing appropriate Early learning programmes for children aged 0-6yrs within Melbourne, local & Kerang Children's Services Centres.  My roles varied from Room Leader, Team Leader to Coordinator.  As coordinatoor of local Children's centres I was the first contact families had within this type of setting, offering information & support in orientating  children into long day care & supporting staff, whilst managing the day to day operations.

I left to start a family and have 3 children, Ted, Ruby & Maggie.  We moved to Kerang for 8 years returning to Shepparton in January 2008.  During this time in Kerang I was proactive in many community organisations, including the Kerang Toy Library as treasurer, Kindergarten as president and running a book club. Since returning to Shepparton I have become involved in Ted's primary school on the P & F committee as President, and Ruby's kinder Parent committee as Presisent.  Not a day goes by that my children do not mention the 2008 production Peter Pan in some way, by way of singing dance or watching the DVD, we enjoy being part of this great organisation.
