Initial Stages Theatre Company offers classes and practical stage experience to young people between the ages of 8 and 18 from the Goulburn Valley region. Classes are held weekly in central Shepparton in the areas of drama, stagecraft and music and are run by three qualified, experienced theatre and music practitioners: Helen Malloy, Dayna Tinline, Amy Whitten, Jacqui Pithie, Carol Davidson and Administration Officer Naomi Egglestone . Along with class work, Initial Stages produces several public performances each year in order to showcase the skills and talents of its students to a wider audience. This also gives students practical experience in performing in front of an audience.
The staff of Initial Stages possess qualifications, experience and skills in both the performing arts and in working with young people. This is an ideal catalyst of skills and expertise to bring a concept such as Initial Stages to life.
Our classes will run for a full school term.
We will be offering 30 minute classes each week in dance singing and drama and you can choose which you wish to attend.
